Model for estimating barley production based on satellite images

The present study aimed to analyze and evaluate the barley crops, also estimate production by analyzing satellite images. was conducted at Didactic Experimental Resort (DER) of BUASVM Timisoara, Timis County, Romania. PlanetScope platform used for study, with a spatial resolution 3 m. images were taken in Remote Sensing System, 7 different moments, between 27 March June 2020. Based on spectral data, MSAVI2 NDVI indices calculated. Four plots cultivated studied (B/A75, B/A80, B/A82 B/A84). variation relation time factor (T, days), over interval, described polynomial models 2nd degree, statistical accuracy conditions. regression analysis, estimation based possible under conditions R2=0.998, P<0.05 plot B/A75, R2=0.999, R2=0.997, P=0.0577 respectively, B/A84. From calculation RMSEP index, estimated productions, values obtained: RMSEP=80.8162 YB/A75, RMSEP=50.1633 YB/A80, RMSEP=192.3947 YB/A82 respectively RMSEP=112.2899 YB/A84. value YB/A80 confirms that B/A80 made highest precision.
